Delete your MumMatch Pro account

Last updated 6 February 2026

You can ask us to delete your MumMatch Pro account and the personal data linked to it at any time. You do not need to be signed in to make this request. This page applies to the MumMatch Pro app (package app.mummatch.pro) and the website at mummatchpro.app.

How to request deletion

  1. Fill in the details below (or simply email us directly).
  2. Send the request to support@mummatchpro.app from the email address on your account where possible.
  3. We verify the request (we may ask you to confirm from your account email address to stop anyone deleting your account without permission).
  4. We confirm by email once your account and data have been deleted. If you are signed in, you can also request deletion from Settings → Your account.

Request form

Send deletion request

This opens your email app with the request pre-filled. You can also email support@mummatchpro.app yourself with the subject "Account deletion request".

What is deleted

  • Your login and account record (email address, password credentials, phone number).
  • Your profile: name, photo, bio, suburb and location preferences, availability, skills.
  • Your job posts, applications and saved drafts.
  • Your messages and conversations.
  • Reviews you wrote and ratings tied to your account.
  • Identity and check documents you uploaded (licence, WWCC, police check files).
  • Push notification subscriptions and notification preferences.
  • Device and app settings stored on your account.

What we may need to keep, and why

  • Payment and payout records — transaction amounts, dates, fees, refunds and payout status. Australian tax and financial records law requires these to be kept for 7 years. Card details are held by our payment provider (Stripe), never by MumMatch Pro.
  • Identity verification outcomes — the fact a check passed or failed and its date, kept for up to 7 years for fraud prevention and legal obligations. Uploaded document images are deleted.
  • Safety and misconduct records — if your account was reported, suspended or involved in a safety investigation, we keep a minimal record for up to 7 years to protect other members.
  • Anonymised or aggregated data — statistics that can no longer identify you may be kept indefinitely.

Retained records are locked down, used only for the purposes above, and deleted at the end of the retention period.

How long it takes

  • We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  • Your account is deactivated immediately once verified and deleted within 30 days.
  • Encrypted backups are cycled out within a further 90 days.

Before you delete

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active booking, an unpaid job or a payout on its way, please complete or cancel it first — we can't release funds to a deleted account.
