Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 February 2026

MumMatch Pro handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, mobile), your suburb and travel radius, profile content such as skills and availability, job and booking history, messages sent through the platform, verification documents you choose to submit, and payment records created by Stripe.

Why we collect it

To create your account, match you with nearby jobs or helpers, process payments and payouts, verify identity and credentials, keep members safe, resolve disputes, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Location and addresses

Only your suburb is shown publicly. A job's exact street address stays private and is released to a single worker only after that worker is booked for the job. We geocode suburb names to measure travel distance — never street addresses.

Verification documents

Identity, driver licence and Working with Children documents are stored in private storage that no other member can access. They are viewed only by our verification team for the purpose of checking them, and are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered with Stripe and are never stored by MumMatch Pro. We keep only the payment records needed for your bookings, refunds and payouts.

Who we share information with

Other members see only what your profile and job listings show. We share information with service providers who run the platform (hosting, database, payments, email), and with authorities where the law requires it or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and security

Data is stored on secured servers with access controls, row-level security and encryption in transit. Some providers store data outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.

Access, correction and deletion

You can view and edit your profile at any time, and request deletion of your account from Settings. Some records — such as payment and tax records — must be retained for the period required by Australian law before deletion.

Complaints

If you believe your privacy has been mishandled, contact support@mummatchpro.app. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
