Terms of Service
Last updated 6 February 2026
These terms form the agreement between you and MumMatch Pro when you use the platform anywhere in Australia. By creating an account you accept them.
1. What MumMatch Pro is
MumMatch Pro is an online marketplace. Customers post local jobs and independent workers apply for them. We are not an employer, employment agency or labour hire provider. We do not supervise, direct or control how a job is carried out.
2. Who can use the platform
You must be at least 18 years old, legally entitled to work in Australia if you apply for jobs, and provide accurate information about yourself. One account per person. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
3. Jobs and fixed pricing
All jobs on MumMatch Pro are posted at a single fixed price for the whole job. Hourly charging is not available. A worker may propose a different fixed price when applying; the price agreed at the moment the customer accepts an application is the price for that booking. Any change of scope requires a new job.
4. Bookings and payment
When a customer accepts an application the booking is created as "awaiting payment". The booking is only confirmed once our payment provider, Stripe, confirms the customer's payment has succeeded. Funds are held until the job is completed and the customer confirms completion, at which point the worker's payment is released.
5. Platform fee
MumMatch Pro retains a platform fee, shown before you pay, from each completed booking. The remainder is paid to the worker. Stripe processing costs are included in the amounts shown on your booking.
6. Cancellations and refunds
A customer may cancel before work starts and be refunded in line with the cancellation options shown on the booking. A worker may withdraw an application at any time before it is accepted, and may apply again later if the job is still open. Repeated late cancellations may lead to suspension.
7. Taxes and independent status
Workers are independent and responsible for their own tax, ABN where required, superannuation and insurance. MumMatch Pro does not withhold PAYG tax and does not provide employee entitlements.
8. Prohibited work
Some work cannot be booked through MumMatch Pro at launch, including childcare and supervision of children, school transport, medical or personal care, and licensed trade work such as electrical, plumbing and gas. Anything unlawful is prohibited.
9. Off-platform arrangements
Arranging payment outside MumMatch Pro removes your payment protection, our records and our ability to help if something goes wrong. Doing so may result in your account being suspended.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, our Community Guidelines or our Safety Policy, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or risk to another member. You may close your account at any time from Settings.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, MumMatch Pro is not liable for the acts or omissions of customers or workers, for the quality or outcome of any job, or for indirect loss. Our total liability is limited to the platform fees we received for the booking concerned.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will show the updated date at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
